At Waypoint, we love Jesus, and we love people, and we are excited to bring those two things together. We believe that every person’s greatest fulfillment and satisfaction is found in relationship with Jesus. That’s why we are so passionate about strengthening this relationship. Like everything in life, our spiritual development is a journey that is taken step-by-step, and we strive to be a community where we are all on that journey together.
One of the very best sources for that development is the Bible, which is God’s word to us. So one of the things that you will find here is that our teaching and preaching are grounded firmly in the Bible. In addition, we encourage every one of our members to engage with God’s word every day. In Acts 17:11, the people in a city called Berea were praised because they didn’t simply believe all of the preaching of church leaders; instead they studied the Bible themselves to ensure that what was being taught was in line with God’s word. We strive to be similar students of the Bible to make sure that we all know it well.
