You are invited to join Waypoint Kid’s Place Ministry, where children can love Jesus more fully and learn to show kindness to one another. Becoming fully devoted followers of Jesus begins right here. Waypoint Kid’s Ministry cares for your children—infants through 5th grade. The Bible is like no other book, and the Word comes alive with purpose. During the adult Worship Service every Sunday, all year long, we focus on doing one thing well: creating fun, inspiring, and active children’s worship.

  • Family Fellowship Time | Sundays at 10:00 a.m. (Refreshments until 10:30 a.m.)

  • Nursery (Infants to 23 months of age)| Sundays at 10:15 a.m.

  • Preschool Class (2 - 4 years of age) | Sundays at 10:15 a.m.

  • Children’s Church (Kindergarten to 5th grade) | Sundays at 10:30 a.m.

First Visits & Regular Check-In

A check-in desk is designated for you in the foyer. We use the Breeze web-based check-in system for all ages. We can walk you through creating a family profile on your first visit. Regular attenders, plan to arrive early. Stop by the check-in desk so we can get your family’s info into our system.

Fellowship Time Details

At 10 a.m., all ages enjoy hot beverages, cookies or breads, and fruit in the foyer. During Family Fellowship, teachers also prep their rooms, so please supervise your children until class begins.

Nursery and Preschool

The nursery and the preschool class are prepared early on Sunday morning. A volunteer will check you in and show you to the Children’s Ministries Wing before the adult Worship Service. We’ll show you to your child’s room and discuss safety and pick-up procedures. Nursery: infants-23 months of age; Preschool: kids 2-4 years of age.

Children’s Church Details

Children build friendships—new and old—while discovering a Bible lesson they can carry into everyday family life. Families have the greatest influence in a child’s life, and we are ready to encourage. We listen! We learn to share what God is doing in our lives.  

Early and Upper elementary kids (kindergarten-fifth grade), you begin your morning in the Worship Center with your families. Gather in the main Worship Center for music and worship. Then you will be dismissed by age group with your adult leaders. Early Elementary: 5-7 years old; Upper Elementary: 8-10 years old.

Fall Kickoff “Graduation”

Move-Up Sunday is in early September. On that day, all kids move up to the next class/grade at church. We hold Fall Kick-Off in September, usually on the Sunday following Labor Day, and regular schedule/activities resume.
