Waypoint Children’s Ministry seeks to help our kids flourish in their love for Jesus and for each other, plain and simple. During our Sunday Worship time for adults, all children (babies through 5th grade) experience safe, age-appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in creative and applicable ways. During the adult Grow Hour every week, we have dynamic Sunday School programming, too. Church is fun — God loves to hear our children laugh. Welcome!

Children’s Worship Time - Sundays at 9:00am

Children’s Grow Hour     - Sundays at 10:30am 

  • Nursery (0-24 months of age)

  • Toddlers & Preschool (2,3, or 4 years of age)

  • Elementary School (Fall Kindergarten – 5th grade)

First Visits & Regular Check-In

Visitors and attenders, we use the Breeze web-based check-in system for all ages. A check-in desk is designated for you in the foyer. We can walk you through creating a Breeze profile on your first visit. Families of Infants, Toddlers, and Preschoolers, a volunteer will show you to the Children’s Wing before the service starts. Elementary School kids, you will start your morning in the Worship Center with us for music and Scripture reading, and then you will be dismissed to go with your elementary age group and your adult leaders. Pick-up is at the children’s wing location.

Grow Hour Details

Every Sunday, all year long, we offer dynamic Sunday School programming during the adult Grow Hour. We provide a kid-friendly small group connection with caring adults. Knowing that parents have the greatest influence in a child’s life, we also seek to inspire and empower with communication that puts parents in the driver’s seat. Our prayer is that together — child, parent, teacher — we will grow! 

Summer Schedule Adjustments

Move-Up Sunday is in early June. We have our 3rd-5th graders remain with their parents in the Worship Center at 9:00am during the summer months, and Preschool – 2nd grade Children’s Worship Time starts at 9:30am. Children’s Grow Hour starts at its regular time (10:30am). Fall Kick-Off is in September, the Sunday following Labor Day.
