What is Awana?

Awana is a school-year-long program for kids that helps churches and parents work together to develop spiritually strong children.

It’s an exciting atmosphere! They’ll reach goals, win prizes, and build confidence as they have fun, enjoy parties, play unusual games, and even have dress-up nights. Clubbers work in a handbook throughout the year and earn awards as they complete the material. Club night features music, Bible-based teaching, and small group time with friends. Sparks is the name of the Awana club for kids from kindergarten to 2nd grade, and T&T (Truth & Training) is the name of the club for kids in 3rd through 6th grades. Boys and girls meet together in Sparks; in T&T they meet separately.

What does “Awana” mean?

The word Awana stands for: Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed, which is taken from the Bible verse 2 Timothy 2:15.

When are Awana gatherings?

Awana meets on Wednesday nights from 6:00-8:00pm, and the first night of club is September 13th. Come and join us!

As a parent, you’ll appreciate Awana.

Your child will participate in a fun, organized program with a club atmosphere. Well-qualified, caring leaders provide strong guidance. They’ll gain memorization skills, experience teamwork and sportsmanship, build confidence, learn discipline, and be encouraged in strong morals and character.
