Bulletin for Week of August 17

Grow Hour:  starting the week of August 10 through August 31, we will take a break from our regular, grow our groups and classes. We will also take a break from children’s church during this time. This is intended to give our teachers and facilitators a time of rest and time to plan ahead. During these weeks, we will continue to have doors open at 9 AM, and we encourage you to come sit with each other and have conversations with your church family. Coffee will be served at 10 AM as usual. We are excited to have our children remain with us during the service in August for Biblical Improv Theater. There will be coloring sheets and materials available in the foyer for any children that want to make use of them.

SUNDAY Afternoon service, 2pm, instead of our regular Bible study over the life of Joseph, we have the privilege of hearing from Ben & Joyce Anderson. If you want to hear good news, and want a chance to ask questions, join us at 2PM in room 116 (first room at the bottom of the ramp).

Missions Moment: With the help of MegaVoice solar-powered players, Rich and Joyce Mattocks are sending the message of God’s saving grace to the people groups of Papua New Guinea. As translation of the books of the Bible are completed they are added to the players to be distributed among the villages. You can find gatherings around a single player as they listen intently to messages in God’s Word. The Mattocks are thankful for churches such as Waypoint who are faithfully supporting this ministry. From their Newsletter they write, “It has been said, ‘Watch where God is working and join Him,’ but rarely do we hear, ‘Watch which gap God wants filled and fill it.’” If you feel God may be calling you to be that person you may contact Office@tyndalebt.org
