Missions Moment: Givemore and Sylvia Nyakambiri are working diligently to spread the gospel and improve the welfare of people in Malawi. Starting in January Givemore has traveled the first Sunday of every month to GMI churches all over Malawi to encourage and equip men to follow the Lord in their homes and workplaces. He equips these churches to follow up with this training. These local leaders will in turn train and equip other men. Pray for success for leadership and many hearts to follow. Their son J-Nathan continues his cancer treatments and his recent checkup revealed that he is recovering well. He has had this disease for a time now and his visits for treatment at the Oncology Center have provided an important ministry for Givemore, Sylvia, and J-Nathan. Some of the families there have traveled long distances arriving with nothing and no place provided to sleep. The Nyamkambiris arrive with food, blankets, encouragement, the Gospel of Christ, each and every visit they make. There are many poor single mothers in Malawi and Sylvia continues her ministry meeting, encouraging, and sharing her faith with these mothers. She has a team that travels to communities to meet with these moms. Their first was planned for 50 but 120 women came. She has begun a program where they can earn some income by raising and selling pigs! The women involved in this co-op are learning skills and how to provide income. Pray that good stable markets are available when these pigs are mature and ready for market and people will pay a fair price.
