AFTERNOON SERVICE:  To allow for family celebrations of mothers today, we will not hold our Bible study at 2PM.

 

AWANA YEAR END CELEBRATION: The Awana Year End Celebration will be held on May 22 at 6pm. Everyone is invited to come and help congratulate the clubbers on their hard work all year. We would love a big turnout to support these families. If you would like to provide homemade cookies or other hand-held treats, please contact Karla Maughan at 509-688-7894. If you would like to help set up or clean up or supply beverages or paper goods, please contact Blair Blycker at 509-922-3261. Thank you for supporting this ministry event!

 

JR. CAMP: This year Jr. camp will be July 22nd-26th. Jr camp is for kids going into 3rd grade thru 6th grade and is $200. Campers participate in games, crafts, and make new friends while learning about God throughout the week. SPRINKLER MAINTANCE HELP:  We are in need of a person, maybe two people, who have some experience maintaining automatic sprinkler systems.  Steve O’Brien is retiring soon after 23 yrs.  He will be available to work with you until you are familiar with the set up. If you are interested or have questions about what it would entail, please call Steve O’Brien at 509-991-2377.

  

MEN’S GAME NIGHT:  Men of Berean, (high school age and up), we are having our next board game night on March 15th at 6:00pm. We’ll meet in the youth center and play until we can’t keep our eyes open any longer. This isn’t only for big, complicated games, we typically have a whole variety of games including casual games that are easy to learn. Make plans to join us. Bring a snack to share and any favorite games of YOURS.

 

NEXT SUNDAY: This next Sunday, May 19th, the Blyckers will be presenting the plan for their upcoming ministry.  Let's extend that presentation into a Q&A celebration during Grow Hour in the Gym.  Bring your favorite snack to share - sweet or savory - and just spend some time loving on this sweet family.

 

FINANCIAL REPORT: In order to honor our promises and obligations for missionaries, building loan, and general ministry needs, we need to receive an average of $9,360 per week. Received 4/28: $8,805.79. Received 5/5: $9,170.99. All commitments are being paid on time, thanks to our faithful givers.

 

YOUTH GROUP: (6th-12th grade)  Tuesdays from 6-8pm.

 

AWANA: (K – 6th grade) Wednesdays from 6-8pm.

MISSIONS MOMENT: Milo and Raquel Seravalli, missionaries to Nicaragua serving through GMI, write “After ten years of ministry, we have seen a slow but steady spiritual growth in the people of the church. Lives have been transformed by the grace of God and a faithful group of believers has emerged with a mission and vision to spread the good news of Jesus Christ.”Answ ered prayer: Milo and Raquel announced in answer to their many prayers over eight years, the Lord blessed them with the birth of their son, Teofilo. Jonathan and Brenda Tuttle answered God’s call to serve with them in Nicaragua. Eynard and family accepted the challenge to pastor the Nagarote church with Hamilton and Sharon to be part of the leadership. The Lord’s team is a joint effort.Prayer Requests: New church plant in the Carazo region and the Seravalli’s move to Jinotepe to begin ministry there.
